Renowned Full Time Fishing Guide
Growing up on Merritt Island and fishing the Banana River Lagoon and Canaveral with his father, Captain Richard's native knowledge of Florida Fishing and it's diverse species of gamefish allows him to share a life-time of knowledge and experience with anglers. While attending Palm Beach Atlantic College in South Florida, Captain Richard excelled in marine biology and oceanography studies building on his natural fishing and outdoor abilities.

Captain Richard is a United States Coast Guard U.S. Merchant Marine Officer and is skilled in boatmanship and angling skills with a keen fishing sense that helps him put anglers on biting fish.

Captain Richard is a family oriented full time charter captain. He has a passion for helping young anglers and their parents improve their skills and bond through the sport of fishing. Capt. Richard has two children of his own and while he's not out fishing with clients, he's on the water with his family.  Simply put... "Captain Richard Hooks-U-Up with fish and an enjoyable time on the water".

Hello Anglers,
Charter Fishing is our soul source of income for my family in our native shallow water lagoons and Atlantic Ocean off east central Florida. There are plenty of 'part-time' guides looking to earn a few extra dollars justifying a boat payment or using it as an excuse to go fishing a couple of times per month. Guiding anglers has never been a side profession or hobby for me, I've dedicated my whole life to showing anglers how and where to fish on Florida's Space Coast. We've committed our lives to giving anglers a full-time experience as I am typically on the water over 300 days a year. When considering a fishing guide ask them THIS question: Are you a full time charter boat Captain or do you have another job? Nine times out of ten they're part-timers and these are the ones you want to avoid. There are a handful of full-time quality guides in our area, please take the time to ask a few pertinent questions.

Welcome,
Growing up and living in the same area my whole life, I'd never really appreciated the local waterways and ocean until I met and married my husband Captain Richard. Prior to marriage our night time dates fishing at Sebastian Inlet and excursions out of Port Canaveral aquainted me more intimatley to the wonderful lagoons and ocean that I'd taken for granted growing up on Florida's coast. With twenty years of marriage behind us, we've raised children that enjoy the water and outdoors too. Our oldest is a champion surfer and our youngest can't get enough of fishing with her daddy and surfing with her sister.

Now you have the opportunity to experience the great fishing and waterways the way only a native Floridian can show you. While fishing the inshore lagoons for redfish, snook and sea trout you'll more than likely see manatees & dolphins, alligators and an assortment of beautiful birds and water fowl. Call me today and let me help you make your vacation in Florida a more memoriable experience.
