Offshore Fishing for King Mackerel off Port Canaveral

Nothing better than taking a warm summer day and going out fishing off Port Canaveral when the fish are biting. Captain Gina takes a day off her usual routine of booking fishing trips for Captain Richard Bradley of Lagooner Fishing Charters and running kids back and forth to school and narrates a quick fishing stop on one of the nearshore wrecks off the central east coast of Florida near Cocoa Beach.
I love taking a day with my husband and going fishing offshore when the weather's nice. It's nice to have him cater to me by catching bait in the castnet and instructing me on where and how to fish. You can enjoy the same great fishing trips I do when you you take a fishing charter with Lagooner Fishing Guides and Captain Richard too.

March - 2018 Fishing Report
March - 2018 Fishing Forecast
The windy month of March on the Banana River can still produce alot of large spotted sea trout and some nicer sized reds than the previous two months. Redfish will start moving around in march in preparation for the upcoming spring months and larger seatrout will be thinking about the spawn as the water temperature rise. Look for a showing of snook to possibly show up in late March and tarpon to start moving into the backwaters on some days. Tarpon will more than likely be present, but will be fickle to eat unless the temperatures are consistant in March.
NOTE: During the month of March you'll want to ask your Captain about cobia fishing as the migration of cobia usually start in March depending on the water temperatures in the ocean. March is a very productive month for almost all fishing.

Lagooner Fishing Guides Review / Trip Advisor
Inshore and Offshore Charter Fishing near Orlando and Cocoa Beach, Florida. Catch redfish, sea trout, tarpon, snook and many other saltwater gamefish aboard the world famous Lagooner flats fishing boat with renowned Captain Richard Bradley.
Lagooner Fishing Guides - I have had the fortune to have fished with Captain Richard on a number of occasions. While I consider myself to be a pretty good recreational fisherman, each time I fished with him I left with a wealth of new information about not only fishing, but the entire intercoastal ecosystem. Speaking with and learning from Captain Bradley is worth the trip by itself, but he never failed to put us on fish. While on Lagooner trips, we have landed our personal best snook, redfish, kingfish, tarpon and he even put us on a sailfish. I am also impressed with the amount a care Captain Richard puts on the safety of his Guests. This is very evident in how well he maintains his boats and motors. He also carries this over with his other equipment as well. His gear is always top-notch and in pristine condition. I value his opinion so much that I reached out to him when I was looking to buy my own fishing boat. He spent a lot of time giving me the pros and cons of different flats boats. He certainly did not have to spend time doing this since he was not "on the clock," but I know he did this out of his passion for fishing and his commitment to his customers. I took his advice and bought an Action Craft since he swore by it. There might be a problem with my boat though, it does not catch as many fish as Captain Richard's boat!
