Directions to Boat Ramps and Launches
East Central Florida is directly east of Orlando Florida
and it's major themeparks and attractions including Disney World and the
Magic Kingdom, Universal Studios and Seaworld. Most saltwater inshore and offshore fishing is less than an hour away from any Orlando resorts or hotels.
World class fishing can be found along the coastline from
Daytona Beach to the north and Sebastian Inlet further south for saltwater species
including redfish, spotted seatrout and snook. Each location
listed is a rendezvous point where your guide will launch
the boat, start you on your fishing excursion and disembark
when finished.
For the most part the directions that instruct anglers to our fishing destinations commence in front of the Orlando International Airport (MCO) on State Road (SR) 520 and continue east as instructed on the destinations on the right of the web page. Once you've set a trip with Lagooner Fishing Guides, one of our Captains will send you an itinerary with with attached detailed instructions to the chosen meeting spot.

- 4. Banana River Lagoon
- Driving Directions
Banana River Lagoon -
Located between the Indian River Lagoon and Mosquito Lagoon, this area is one of the most productive watersheds in Florida.
Monster Redfish, world class sea trout and plenty of fiesty
snook will keep you and your guide busy. In the morning you
might be fly-casting against the mangroves for snook or in
the evening live-baiting in the flats for a smorgasbord of
gamefish.

North Banana's No-Motor Zone - While not
accessible from a motor boat this location is a promised land
of bull-redfish, gator trout and abundant wildlife. It is
not uncommon to witness large schools of tailing redfish meandering
through the grass flats. Because this is a canoe trip and several miles of paddling is required, you should consider any physical limitations.

snook factories in the world, this inlet produces snook almost
all year around. Only in the coldest few weeks of the year
does this place shut-down (some would argue with that). Remember
that snook are mainly night feeders and you will more than
likely not start fishing till after dark or early mornings.
