Indian River Lagoon Channel Bass Charter Fishing

Some anglers call them Channel Bass but in Florida on the Indian River Lagoon charter fishing captain simply call them redfish or red drum. Whatever you call them, if they exceed 40 inches in length they are deemed Giant or big "bull" redfish. Dean McAuthur and his wife Ruth spent a morning with Captain Richard and fishing off the Indian River lagoon. Dean's channel bass he landed was 44 inches long and weighed well over 30 pounds.

"We fished in water no deeper than three feet deep and this monster redfish drug us all over the Indian River lagoon for about an hour. Captain Richard's fishing knowledge around the area helped us locate the fish and hook up with the big ones. And I mean big!" Explained Dean.
