Live Baiting for Big Reds

Jeff Thummel is addicted to fishing, but he has yet to score on a big "whally sized" redfish with Captain Richard. "I've caught world record sized snook and loads of regular sized redfish, I've seen my friends and son catch redfish with Captain Richard and I've caught alot of seatrout with him. He's even turned me on to hundreds of ladyfish and jacks, but no GIANT redfish."

Jeff took his father-in-law out on the Indian River Lagoon this December for an afternoon of fishing with Captain Richard and they caught & released loads seatrout and as the sun was setting, Captain Richard predicted that the redfish would show up at his 'Honey hole' and it wasn't five minutes after they threw their livebaits out that they hooked up and landed a substantial redfish of more than twenty pounds.

But that wasn't the end of the story... Right at dusk they landed a whopping 44 incher that exceeded 30 pounds and took up the remainder of the evening to land and photograph.
