Girls Can Fish Too!

Look at these three lovely ladies displaying their redfish. Mekenzie, Savannah and Gina all love to spend the day on the grassflats looking for one of their favorite fish, REDFISH!

Fishing is not JUST a guys sport anymore. There's more and more gals getting involved in this outdoor activity in Central Florida and all over the state and country.

"I find that it's fun just to slip on my skimpiest bikini and get out on the boat with my husband, family or friends, get a tan, do some fishing and have a blast. Fishing is not ALL about pulling in fish... It's about having fun and that's what girls like more than anything in the world." explains an excited Captain Gina Bradley (wife of Captain Richard of Lagooner Fishing Guides).

"The day you see in the photograph on this page, I took the whole family out on a day of water and caught a few redfish with them. Our church had a picnic at a nearby park that evening so we pulled up and cooked the fish on a BBQ and had a blast with our friends at Lee Weiner Park in Cocoa. I always have fun building these memories of my family and now that my girls are much older now, it's enjoyable to look back at this photograph and remember when they were so little and really enjoyed being on the water with mom and dad." explains Captain Richard.

"I remember this day with dad taking his two, well three girls including mom out for a day of fishing. We caught some fish and then headed to an island to take these pictures." our daughter Savannah talking about this day on the water now that she's a teenager and driving. "Dad always believed in us girls and taking us to the outdoors. I go fishing with hime and his friends now often and clean charter boats for extra money during the year at Port Canaveral. I love to surf and see what God's made for us when we go out in the boat and spend time with dad or friends on the water fishing."

There's some great photographs of girls fishing on our website. Captain Gina has some photos of her fishing recently and in the past on the Lagooner site as she's always loved to go fishing when she gets the opportunity.
