Father and Son
Fishing Trip and Charters

This father and son fishing team spent a day on the water off Florida's East Coast fishing for inshore fishing species in the shallow water saltwater lagoons. Spring time trout and redfish are really starting to heat up as the days get warmer. Greg Lano and his son Greg Jr took a friday off to spend with Capt. Richard in the Banana River on this beautiful march morning.

"We probed for snook in the backwaters (without much luck) and then went on a quest for some live bait for big trout and reds, which turned out to be alot of work but well worth the effort and time invested" explained Capt. Richard. "I enjoyed spending the day on the water with this father & son team and listening to Greg Sr.'s fishing stories from when he ran charters in the Florida Keys (back in the old-days)."

Family Fishing Trips
Brothers, Sisters, Sons and Daughters

"I don't believe I've enjoyed hearing so many fish & dive stories except from my own father." Capt. Richard had an exceptional day of male bonding and conversation with the Lano Boys on the Banana River flats. "We caught fish, we talked, we laughed and we cried (when the fish got away)".

NOTE: These guys brought banana's on the boat (a fishing curse) and they still managed to catch fish:-)

Greg Jr. is a Student in North Carolina and Greg Sr. is in appliance repairs in South Florida. Both are great anglers and awesome men.

Greg jr. with a nice thirty inch Banana River redfish. This fish exploded on the bait in less than one foot of water. Greg ran around the boat twice before landing and posing for this photograph.
