Florida Keys
Sunshine and key lime pie make a great ingredient for kids
and loads of fun for a family. Captain Richard and his family's
short two day stay in the keys was both relaxing and rewarding.
Savannah and Mekenzie combined, caught over 100 mangrove snapper,
several varieties of shark, grouper, and assorted fish.
We snorkled with giant barracuda, parrot fish and even had
a permit take food from our hands while we played in the water
off Islamarada.
Feeding the tarpon was a treat but eating snapper and key
lime pie was better.
Every evening was a new adventure as we took off for the
back-country and saw schools of bonefish, tailing permit and
loads of sharks. Savannah was so excited about fishing she
vowed to learn and cast better so she could target bonefish
and permit. |
